The boil-water notice for Tully–Tullycross has been lifted, Uisce Éireann confirmed on Friday 23 October, allowing customers on the supply to return to normal water use.

The utility’s latest announcement says drinking and food preparation can resume following completed works and satisfactory water-quality tests. The decision followed consultation with the HSE.

The notice had been introduced on 11 October because of operational problems at the treatment plant. The original alert applied to approximately 400 consumers.

The current lifting announcement appears above the original 11 October notice on the same official page. Those older boiling instructions form the history of the incident; the new 23 October update confirms the restriction has ended for this supply.

That is a supply-specific decision. Customers unsure which network serves their address can check with Uisce Éireann’s customer-care team on 1800 278 278, available around the clock.

The utility’s announcement confirms the change in water-use advice; it does not state that any unrelated restriction on another supply has ended.
