Mayo GAA has postponed the Intermediate and Junior B football finals that were due to take place on Saturday, 24 October. The decision was announced today, Friday, 23 October, citing weather warnings and the safety of those attending.
Under Mayo GAA’s revised county finals notice, the games will instead take place at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park on Sunday and Monday.
Refunds and replacement tickets
Supporters who bought tickets for Saturday’s games will receive automatic refunds, Mayo GAA says. Anyone attending a rearranged fixture must purchase a new ticket; the original Saturday booking does not carry over.
The Intermediate final, Ballinrobe against Davitts, is now set for 1.45pm on Sunday, 25 October. Sunday’s programme also lists Ardagh against Eastern Gaels in the Junior A final at noon, followed by Garrymore against Castlebar Mitchels in the Senior final at 3.30pm.
The Junior B final between Ballycastle and Swinford moves to 1pm on Monday, 26 October.
Supporters should check the linked official notice again before travelling for any further changes.
