Dervish are scheduled to play the River Island Hotel in Castleisland at 8pm tonight, Friday 23 October, as the Patrick O’Keeffe Traditional Music Festival continues in the Kerry town.
The organiser’s current concert listing names Damien Mullane and Seán O’Meara, plus Flat to the Matt, on the bill. The displayed ticket price is €32.60, including the fee shown by the booking service. Availability should be checked through that listing before travelling.
This is an evening event within a festival already under way. The official festival site gives the Castleisland dates as 22–26 October; an online opening took place earlier in the week. Radio Kerry reported on the ongoing 34th edition today.
Sessions alongside the concert
The official programme lists Friday’s session trail from 3pm, continuing into the evening and night. The organiser describes the pub sessions as free and open to all, giving visitors an option alongside the separately ticketed concerts.
Saturday’s programme lists a 2pm Sliabh Luachra fiddle recital at the Ivy Leaf Arts Centre and a 7pm concert at the River Island Hotel. Sunday’s Trad All-Stars concert is listed for 7pm at the hotel.
The late-night Festival Club events have separate conditions: the programme marks them 18-plus and online-ticket-only, with no tickets on the door. Check the relevant listing for availability and any changes; a headline concert ticket should not be assumed to cover every festival event.
