Traffic lights at the Hamilton Road and Main Street junction in Bangor, County Down, are listed as out of service after a collision damaged their controller box, according to TrafficWatchNI’s current incident notice.
The incident notice is marked 10.20pm on Friday, 23 October. The provider’s general traffic bulletin was updated at 5.01am on Saturday, 24 October, and still carried the warning when checked shortly afterwards.
Road users are being asked to approach the junction cautiously and be prepared to stop and give way as necessary. TrafficWatchNI says the signals are likely to remain out over the weekend; it has not supplied a confirmed repair time.
Anyone travelling through the junction should check the provider’s latest bulletin for changes.
